Branch conference of AIBSNLEA Amritsar Telecom. District was
held on 11-04-2012 at hotel Kumar International, Albert road
Amritsar. The conference was attended by Com. Balwant Rai
C.S AIBSNLEA Punjab Circle and Com. Baldev Singh Circle
President. Sh. Ajit Chand Circle Org. Secretary-I was also
present on this occasion. Members of all executive streams
attended the meeting.
Com. C.S discussed in detail the various issues taken up
with the Circle Management and the resultant status of their
outcome. Com. CS stressed on the need of increasing
membership and maintaining unity among the members. Com.
President spoke in length on the present scenario of BSNL
and asked the members to be ready to face every challenge in
the coming days.
A new branch body was formed in the presence of all members.
Sh. Amarjit Singh DE (Outer Area), Sh. Varinder Kumar DE(Plg.)
AR and Sh. Sarabjit Singh DE(Tx.) AR were unanimously
elected as Branch President, Branch Secretary and Finance
Secretary respectively. Sh. Ajit Chand CAO & Circle Org.

Dear Comrades !
Our hats off to our Com. Sandeep Kumar DET Barnala, Sangur SSA, (Circle Vice-President of our association), Sh. Ramesh Chand Singla SDO (T) Barnala and Sh. Avtar Singh SDE (Grp.) Barnala for their tireless efforts done in recovering Rs. 33.81 Lac from other State and Civic agencies viz. PWD/CPWD, Punjab Water Supply & Sewerage Board, Municipal Committee and some Vill. Panchayat’s on account of damage done to our underground cables. When other corporate entities are busy in recovering their outstanding dues and summing up their every penny at the close of current financial year, such amount recovered by these energetic comrades, at SDCA level, is more than mere appreciation. They are the true soldiers of BSNL and have set an example in Punjab Telecom Circle for others. All the three officers deserve recognition and reward for their outstanding performance.
Well done comrade. Keep this spirit up and motivate others also.
